This Privacy Policy explains how SnapStream: Video & Music Saver ("we", "us", or "our", Package: app.snapstream.android) handles data when you install and use our Android application.

1. Data Collection & Guest Mode

SnapStream is designed as a guest-first, privacy-respecting personal media utility. We do not require you to create an account, log in with third-party social media profiles, or provide personal credentials.

2. Permissions & Media Access

No Broad Media Access: SnapStream does NOT request MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, or invasive device privileges. Media saving is carried out solely through Android's standard MediaStore API.
Network Access: Required to fetch your requested media files and stream user-provided M3U feeds.
Notifications: Optional permission used exclusively to notify you when background downloads finish.

3. Diagnostics & Analytics

To ensure app stability and prevent technical crashes, SnapStream utilizes Google Firebase Crashlytics. Crash diagnostics are anonymous and encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We do not access or collect Google Advertising ID (AAID).

4. Third-Party Policy & DMCA Safe Harbor

SnapStream functions strictly as a neutral tool and media player. We do not host, store, or index content on remote servers. In compliance with Google Play Developer Policy and YouTube Terms of Service, SnapStream does not support downloading content from YouTube.
